Unless you have a sponsor in Saudi or a trade license you can not have a residency visa in Saudi ,,,sorry

Yes you can.
All you have to do is find a local partner who will sponsor you and your business according to the Saudi Law and that’s it.
Many individuals are resorting to buy & sell, trading and cargo businesses all over the GCC (like UAE, Oman, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) and all they have to do is find a local partner or commission sponsor and off you go.
