The answer is: will I be robbed, raped and killed in the USA doing business? Hope not.
I do not want to judge this video. I just know that the UAE Authorities are taking care of it (like Americans take care of their internal things happening inforeign countries. LOL).
Please feel free to visit the UAE – you won’t regret it.

Safety is ONE major issues where UAE wins from the world & that is just known to everyone.
You will feel safer than anywhere else being here.
Don’t think too much on this.. Visit & see by your own.
You will be convinced.

that’s a dead chicken …why beat it
the guy in the video , though it was wrong & unfortunate what happened to him , had obviously been caught doing some thing illegal and perhaps immoral as can be heard in the dialog in the video (in 2004 i guess) , otherwise it’d not have caused that type of insane punishment which also counts as a crime in its own right. In certain “developed” parts of the world people loose their fingers and ears for missing a payment on a loan they took from a loan shark. But what I am trying to say is that if this guy was law obiding honest person then he would not have gotten in trouble with this nut in the first place. The problem with some people when they come to UAE they think there is no law / or no respect to the law (based on whatever stereo type they heard), and think they can get away with anything but eventually get caught by the law and start complaining. Well , obey the law and no one will touch you. Meaning when some one obeys the law and is honest in his dealings they wont ever have to cross insane people like this in the first place.
Finally I must ask why didn’t US TV show the video back in 2004 (when Bush’s relation was good with Nuhayan family), why did they wait 5 years , obviously not out of concern for the victim in the video. Or was the sale of F-18s , military deals, Boeings, & Dubai Ports fiasco more important than human rights.. Obviously there is a political agenda in play here thus the timed release of this video.
Also one can’t see the post-Bush US as beacon of human rights considering what has been done in ORGANIZED torture facilities in Abu Graib (Iraq), Baghram (Afghanistan), and Guantanamo (Cuba), all operated by US military. What you see in the video mentioned however , is not in any UAE facility (video shot in the desert some where ) nor was it an approved or organized method by the police as AD govt claims. Though responsible parties should be brought to justice any way.
