I’ve been working for an interior contracting company as a GM of Abu Dhabi branch – UAE for the last 3 years (May 2007-July 2010).
During these years I managed to turn around the business from a company of limited capabilities with annual turnover of US$ 1.5 million to a recognized company in this feild making around US$ 35 million per year.
When I started claiming my profit shares as per our agreement I got fired!!
my initial profit agreement was based on 1% of the annual turnover, but when I started taking large projects the owners requested to tailor a new formula that is based on a %age of the net profit rather than the 1% of the annual turnover.
Bottle nicks:
1. My labor contract doesn’t mention the profit share thing, instead there was a separate document called incentive scheme.
2. The old incentive scheme was produced only in yr 2008 and never in 2009 or 2010.
3. The new formula which was tailored was never signed by the owners, but was agreed (we have witnesses).
I’m going to take them to court…What do think my chances are winning the case?

My dear friend I think that if you take them to court you will win the case. You might not get the kind of settlement you expect but you will get something which is better than nothing. You have your documents and some witnesses to prove your case. I pray that as you take them to court that God will be on your side and He will make sure that you get not just a settlement but a very good one. God is Judge overall and He takes care of those who are hopeless.
