Which English speaking country in the world would welcome an educated and intelligent person like me?

Question by Smoky: Which English speaking country in the world would welcome an educated and intelligent person like me?
I have a Masters Degree in Service Management and a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies from a reputable British University and 9 years work experience in IT, Sales and Hospitality in the Middle East.

I am a Pakistani national (and herin lies my biggest stumbling block in my quest to find a peaceful progressive country with plenty of opportunities for hard working, reliable, intelligent people).

I am currently working as a Director of Sales & Marketing for an IT Solutions company in Dubai, UAE.

Any ideas?

Stay the hell away from the US.

We’re turning into a Nazi regime.

The U.S.A I think, unless your afraid of discrimination, although there isn’t much of it except from ignorant fools. The U.S offers a program that gives green-cards to immigrants that are skilled at what they do, you can get it twice as quick.

England is also very good as there are many Pakistani, Indian and middle eastern residents, it’s a country where life goes by slowly and there are many chances to relax or have some fun in the nightlife of London.

Canada. They seem very welcoming. I would say the U.S. because there are a lot of normal people who except hardworking good people but you know that you’re bound to run into jerks.

I was going to say U.S.A., but when you said “peaceful”, progressive country, I thought maybe NOT the U.S..
With all that’s happening and with what the U.S. is currently involved in, in the east, that made me change my mind.
    Sorry and good luck.

Get rid of your British accent and learn American english.
Apply for a work visa to the USA.
